Greg Biffle teams up again with Sigma Performance Services for West Series race at Tri-City Raceway

WEST RICHLAND, Washington — Tri-City Raceway and Sigma Performance Services (SPS) are excited to announce that NASCAR legend Greg Biffle will return to ARCA Menards Series West competition at Tri-City Raceway on Saturday, August 9, driving the No. 23 Chevrolet for SPS in the NAPA AutoCare 150 presented by Vic’s Auto Care.
This marks Biffle’s second straight year competing at Tri-City Raceway — a track that played a major role in the early days of his career. Biffle is no stranger to success at Tri-City, having been a former track champion at Tri-City Raceway, making this homecoming even more meaningful for fans. Born in Portland and raised in Vancouver, Washington, Biffle grew up racing on short tracks across the Pacific Northwest, and this event brings him back to where it all began.
After a strong run last year, Biffle returns with unfinished business to take another shot at victory on the ½-mile tri-oval. His appearance in 2024 was a fan favorite and reminded everyone why Tri-City Raceway remains one of the premier racing venues in the West. Now, he’s back with the same determination that earned him championships in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and Xfinity Series, as well as a spot among NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers.
“I’m excited to be back at Tri-City Raceway for a second year with SPS,” said Biffle. “I feel like I have some unfinished business from last year, and I’m thankful we were able to put this deal together on short notice. Sigma puts a great car on the track, and I can’t wait to get behind the wheel again. I really enjoyed racing with the drivers last year, and I’m looking forward to battling both familiar faces and some new competition.”
“We’re honored and excited to welcome Greg Biffle back to Tri-City Raceway for the ARCA Menards Series West,” said Greg Walden, Tri-City Raceway Promoter. “A big thank you to Joe Farré and the SPS team, and to our presenting sponsor, Vickie Smith of Desert Food Mart, for making this possible.”
“Having Greg Biffle back at Tri-City Raceway creates an atmosphere you can’t find anywhere else,” said Joe Farré, SPS Team Owner. “This track, these fans, and a driver of his caliber make this more than a race—it’s an experience fans will never forget, and we’re proud to be a part of it.”
Biffle and SPS remain dedicated to supporting grassroots racing and the tracks where it all begins, ensuring fans can continue to experience the energy and tradition of the sport for years to come.
We would like to recognize the hard work that went into making this event possible by the team at Tri-City Raceway and extend a special thank you to Desert Food Mart and all the local sponsors who stepped up in a big way. Their combined support ensures an unforgettable event that truly celebrates racing at its best.
