Another Pole For Chase Briscoe At Nashville

NASHVILLE — Chase Briscoe won his second pole in as many NASCAR Cup Series races and this third of the season during qualifying for Sunday’s Cracker Barrell 400 at Nashville Superspeedway.
The Joe Gibbs Racing driver turned a lap of 29.125 seconds at 164.395 mph to outrun his teammate Denny Hamlin for the top spot on the 1.33-mile concrete oval. It was Briscoe’s fifth pole in 158 NASCAR Cup Series starts.
Series point leader William Byron was third in his Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet, while Tyler Reddick was fourth in a Toyota for 23XI Racing.
Coca-Cola 600 winner Ross Chastain was fifth in his Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet.
Brad Keselowski, Christopher Bell, Michael McDowell, Joey Logano and Chris Buescher completed the top 10.
