‘I’m a car expert - this is the worst SUV ever made'

Top motoring mechanic Scotty Kilmer has revealed what is the “worst SUV” on the roads, with potential buyers told to stay away. The leading mechanic said road users should avoid the Jeep Compass, with motorists reporting serious issues with the off-roader.
Scotty's own opinion is that the Compass is "underpowered" and "uncomfortable" with many suffering from major "electrical" problems. Compass owners also took to social media to back up Scotty's comments, with many revealing they had struggled with the model. Scotty made the admission on his YouTube channel where he provides almost daily advice to petrol, diesel and electric car owners.

Scotty said: “Today I’m going to talk about the worst SUV that you should never buy used, the Jeep Compass. I guess they didn't know which direction they were heading when they made the Compass.
“They were underpowered, the seats weren't comfortable, they made all kinds of noise. They are known for electrical problems too. I had customers with them, they were driving down the road and the thing would just cut off. So if you're looking for a used SUV, and you're looking for directions, don't buy a Compass.”
The Compass is a compact crossover SUV which first hit the road back in 2007 with a range of updates since.
YouTube viewer @gohappypanda1 said: “I test drove a Compass. Besides the fact that it was small inside, the car engine stopped in the middle of the intersection! I tried to start the car multiple times but nothing! Even the salesman seated next to me didn't know what to do.
@tinatepe2078 added: “Yep, made that mistake once... Jeep Compass.... NEVER AGAIN!”
@Gabrielle-z3b remarked: “My Compass ran very well till 35,000 miles? It’s kaput now and does not run.”
The latest Third Generation Jeep Compass was unveiled earlier this year, with the model available in a range of mid-hybrid options. However, some road users were not convinced, claiming their Compass had not suffered similar issues.
@robanderson5921 said: “I have a 2013 Jeep Compass and it has hardly any repairs.”
@damnkids9999 added: “Well, I've had mine for almost 2 years and although I don't even put 5000 miles on it a year I've never had a problem.”
