Not Tesla, BYD or Toyota: The best-selling car in July has been announced

According to data from the Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association (ODMD), the Renault Megane Touch was the best-selling car in July. The model topped the list with 5,276 units sold, and its price was announced as 1.839 million Turkish Lira. Tesla's Model Y SR RWD version came in second. Tesla sold 4,706 units in July.

EGEA TOOK THE THIRD PLACE

The Fiat Egea Sedan Easy, notable for its affordable pricing, came in third with 4,105 units sold. The model's price was set at 1,144,000 Turkish Lira. Toyota, which had a strong sales performance in the first half of the year, fell short of the top three this time around.

TOGG IS SEVENTH ON THE LIST

Türkiye's domestically produced car, the Togg T10X Standard Range version, ranked seventh on the July list with 2,720 units sold. The Togg's sales price was recorded as 1,862,000 Turkish Lira.

Campaigns Increased Sales

Industry representatives say that campaigns, particularly those implemented in July, directly impacted sales. Japanese giant Toyota's discounts of up to 500,000 TL on some models and the credit support offered by other brands significantly accelerated vehicle purchasing.
