Experienced car expert shared his list of the 'most reliable cars on the market': Zero chance of failure...

Mike Brewer, the world-renowned host of the legendary car show "Wheeler Dealers," has revealed which cars are least likely to break down and return to the dealership. According to Brewer, the undisputed leader in this area is South Korean manufacturer Kia, particularly with its Sportage model.

Speaking to Express.co.uk, experienced car expert Mike Brewer listed the most reliable brands in today's car market based on his own experiences.

"My answer to that question would be Kia. Because the new Chinese companies like Kia, Hyundai and BYD get really good reviews for the reliability and performance of the cars they produce," Brewer said.

"When we sell Kia, we never see them again"

Mike Brewer noted that Asian brands have traditionally been renowned for their durability, emphasizing that his own experience at his own car sales company clearly demonstrates this. He explained this experience with a striking example:

"When we sell a Kia, we wave goodbye to the customer and never see them again. Because they don't come back for service."

In stark contrast to this, Brewer added that one in every 30 Ford Transits they sell returns to the dealership with a fault, usually a minor one.

The expert noted that it's generally difficult to buy a bad car these days, and most models are quite good. "Japanese, Korean, or Chinese brands are always really good, high-quality cars," he said, highlighting the advantage of Asian manufacturers.

Brewer also offered important advice to drivers, especially those considering buying a used vehicle: Be sure to check the vehicle's history, technical inspection records and mileage against public databases.
