Volvo EX90 to feature new 'Abbey Road Studios Mode' sound technology

The Volvo EX90 will now be equipped with Abbey Road Studios Mode sound technology - including models that have the optional Bowers & Wilkins High Fidelity Audio system.

This sound mode will be rolled out to customers in the coming weeks via a free over-the-air update. It was designed by Bowers & Wilkins and Abbey Road Studios.

It has several presets that provide a selection of sounds, optimized for different listening styles. Producer Mode allows the user to assemble their own sound, changing the acoustics from a more classic to a more modern sound; or expanding the stereo sound field, for example.

Volvo has a strategy of constantly improving its software-defined cars, and in the future it will make this sound mode available from the factory on all EX90 and ES90 equipped with the Bowers & Wilkins audio system.
