Lexus LS sedan 'transforms' into a six-wheel MPV in this 'concept'

One of the Toyota group's new products at the Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo will come from the luxury brand Lexus - 'turning' the LS sedan into a minivan , with six wheels on three axles.

The concept car is called the Lexus LS Concept . Aside from a short video and an image, no technical details or plans have been revealed.

So, we'll have to wait until the Tokyo Motor Show to learn more about this luxury MPV with its unusual six-wheel configuration—a truly unique model for the manufacturer. The show will run from October 30th to November 9th.

Lexus LM

This isn't Lexus's first foray into the MPV format. The concept will join the Lexus LM , a luxury hybrid offering already launched in over 60 countries.

LM stands for 'Luxury Mover,' and is designed with a four-seat configuration. There's a retractable window between the front row and the passenger area. Below this window is a large 48-inch screen, which can be used for business or leisure purposes.

There's also a retractable table, allowing for the use of a tablet or laptop on board. The exterior design is sleek, with an evolution of the Spindle Body integrated into the front for improved aerodynamics, cooling, and maneuverability.
