Fiat Toro 2026: what changes?

This is the second series of major changes the Fiat Toro has undergone since its debut in 2016. The first facelift took place in 2021, with a new front end, interior, and flex-fuel engine. Now, for the first time, it's changing its rear end. All the visual changes revolve around Fiat's latest visual identity, with square, more straight lines and straight creases.

Inside, the biggest changes are concentrated in the center console: it receives a new transmission lever, as well as the long-awaited electromechanical handbrake, accompanied by the useful Auto Hold function, which temporarily immobilizes the vehicle. At the end of the console, for rear passengers, there are now a USB-C port and a USB-A port, but the air conditioning vents were left out of the improvements. Furthermore, the 7-inch digital instrument panel features a new layout and graphics.

Other good news for the model include four-wheel disc brakes, available from the entry-level version, as well as new alloy wheel designs, in 17- or 18-inch rims. The Endurance trim, in fact, ditches the plastic hubcaps in favor of standard alloy wheels. The cabin also receives new upholstery patterns, as well as specific finish changes.

Fiat Toro 2026: engine

The pickup's powertrain remains unchanged. The Endurance, Freedom, Volcano T270, and Ultra trims use the 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, generating 176 hp and 27.5 kgf/17.5 lb-ft of torque, whether running on gasoline or ethanol. Here, the truck is always front-wheel drive, and the transmission is a six-speed automatic. The Endurance trim takes about 10 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h, with a top speed of almost 200 km/h.
