On Sunday, August 3rd, at approximately 6:35 a.m., a motorcycle skidded on the A4 motorway between Kostomłoty and Kąty Wrocławskie. The 29-year-old man fell and required medical attention. Resuscitation efforts proved successful. The man regained vital signs and was transported to hospital in critical condition.

Police warn of consequences.The Zagrodno Volunteer Fire Department (OSP) reported on social media that the accident closed both lanes of the highway, causing a traffic jam of several kilometers. "Some drivers, however, decided not to wait in the traffic jam, turned around on the highway, and drove against traffic in a corridor previously created for emergency services," the post continued. The entire incident, depicted in the video, was described as "another example of stupidity."
The recording was also posted on the Dolnośląskie Alarmowo profile. Comments under the video suggested that the drivers were allegedly turning around on police orders. A spokesperson for the District Police Headquarters in Środa Śląska denied this in an interview with 24wroclaw.pl. "Absolutely no one allowed such maneuvers," Senior Sergeant Izabela Jasińska emphasized. Police have secured the recording and announced that they will take action against the drivers who broke the law.
