With the arrival of Televisa, F1 TV is planning a change in its narrations.

Formula 1 (F1) broadcasts in Mexico continue to change. After the Singapore Grand Prix, the company that manages the series awarded the television rights to Televisa, ending its relationship with Fox Sports and leaving users with the option of watching the races through the Sky+ and Izzi Go apps.

However, it seems that this agreement will bring other fundamental changes. According to the specialized portal Motorsport.com , the F1 TV platform would also be affected by this agreement, as it would be changing its narrations aimed at the Mexican market starting in 2026. The plan includes incorporate the voices that are currently part of the Sky Sports broadcast team, a channel belonging to Televisa. Currently, the Spanish-language narrations available to national audiences are led by Argentine Fernando Tornello, and are available on Disney+ in South America and on ESPN en Español in the United States.

Since the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Televisa has been broadcasting every session of the weekend, from free practice to the race, with its own team of commentators and narrators. Although Televisa and Formula 1 have assured that the F1 TV service will not be blocked and that, for now, it will keep its options available in Mexico, This adjustment would correspond to a content regionalization strategy, especially considering the return of Sergio "Checo" Pérez in the 2026 season as a driver for the American Cadillac team.

For now, F1 TV packages will remain valid in Mexico for the remainder of the contract with Televisa.

Where to watch the Mexican Grand Prix this weekend?

Amid complaints from some fans about how difficult it has been to access content after the change of rights from Fox Sports to Televisa, the company confirmed that The race held at the Hermanos Rodríguez Racetrack can be seen on open television.
