Mexican GP: These are the streets that will be closed in Mexico City.

From today, Friday, until next Sunday, October 26, Mexico City will experience Formula 1 up close, as the venue for the Mexican Grand Prix, which will be held at the Hermanos Rodríguez Racetrack.

Therefore, the Mexico City government is implementing a special mobility and security operation to ensure order due to the large influx of fans who will gather in the nation's capital this weekend.

Speeding up traffic in the eastern part of the city is one of the challenges, Therefore, traffic elements will be deployed to guide drivers and prevent traffic jams.

Additionally, with support from the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC), a security perimeter belt will be established around the race venue to facilitate access.

Regarding road closures and detours around the Hermanos Rodríguez Racetrack, authorities recommend using alternate routes.

The Río Churubusco side road, at the venue, will remain CLOSED, so traffic will be limited to the center lanes.

To the north: San Juan Canal Peripheral Ring, East Axis 2 H. Congress of the Union, Tlalpan Causeway, Lázaro Cárdenas Central Axis and Insurgentes Avenue.
To the south: Peripheral Ring Road, 17th Street, East Axis 1, Ring Road, Calzada de Tlalpan, West Axis 1, Cuauhtémoc and Insurgentes Avenue.
To the east: Axis 3 North Ángel Albino Corzo, Axis 1 North Mexican Air Force, Axis 6 South Social Workers, Axis 8 South Ermita Iztapalapa Causeway and Taxqueña Causeway.
To the west: Av. Pantitlán–Xochimilco and Eje 4 Norte Talismán.
