Dune prowess: Ford users tested the Strong Breed's newest addition on a day of pure off-roading.

All winter long, it's Ford . On the beach and in the mountains, the Strong Breed is present with the best of its range and its wide range of unique experiences. One of the landmarks is Cariló , with a space where its latest innovations are exhibited and represents the starting point for off-road offerings designed for its customers. One of these was one of the most anticipated: the Maverick Clinic .
A holiday classic, it brought incredible proposals to Cariló and Pinamar.
And it was eagerly awaited because Maverick owners were not only able to discover everything that Ford's successful compact pickup truck is capable of, but they also had the chance to test drive the different versions of the new Maverick , which has just been added to renew the range that was launched in 2022 in Argentina.

But the experience isn't just about the adventure across the endless dunes of La Frontera; it all begins with the user encounter at the traditional Cerezo and Divisadero stand . There, Ford users learned about off-road driving with a technical talk given by specialists, which was accompanied by a brunch prepared by chef Lele Cristóbal , the creator of Café San Juan and a close friend of the Oval brand.
"What we always strive for is to delight customers, positively surprising them with every experience. And the truth is that they leave very happy, with attention so they can enjoy the entire experience," Belén Martín, Marketing and Communications Manager at Ford Argentina , described the purpose of each of these actions.
The caravan departed from Cariló toward Pinamar Norte to meet up with the Off-Road Campus , the exclusive space where Ford develops each of its initiatives. The customers' pickup trucks were accompanied by others driven by Ford drivers, who offered comprehensive assistance to ensure maximum safety on each section of the journey.
The new Maverick Tremor was one of the attractions of the day.
For over an hour, customers braved climbs, descents, and banked terrain to test out everything the pickup truck can do on the sand . The convoy included units of the new Ford Maverick , in its XLT, Hybrid, and Tremor versions, which captured a lot of attention. At the end of the event, customers were able to test drive them, accompanied by one of Ford's experts.
"It's my first time here, and I'm very happy because I'm taking away a lot of driving knowledge ," said Mariano Feruglio, one of the Ford Maverick users who shared the experience. He explained: " The truck does things I didn't even know it could do. The slopes, the dune climbs… I had never tried it on this terrain before, but I had tried it on the flat, but never to a more extreme extent.”

This type of action seeks to empower the brand's customers to more confidently use the off-road equipment of each member of the Strong Breed, including the Maverick.
"Learning is key. They helped us, giving us the first guidelines on how to handle ourselves in the sand, how to move, how to use all the pickup's technology to improve driving performance. It was a complete experience," explained Carlos Aramburú.
Before heading to the dunes, a Ford instructor gave a talk to help users better understand their pickup trucks.
Maximiliano Fregonese, a brand-new Ford Maverick Tremor owner who drove the previous version of the Maverick Lariat before the upgrade, expressed similar sentiments. "We felt very safe throughout the entire ride. And we learned a lot. I think Ford's after-sales approach with these invitations to these types of events is very good ," he stated.
The new Ford Maverick was launched in April, and for many owners, it was their first experience with the updated range. Its design features a refreshed exterior, with a new grille and "C"-shaped LED headlights, similar to those found on the brand's other pickup trucks.
In its facelift, the Ford Maverick arrived with two types of engines . The most powerful is the 2.0-liter EcoBoost gasoline engine with 253 hp and 375 Nm that equips the XLT and Tremor versions. There is a hybrid option for the Lariat version that combines a 2.5-liter gasoline engine (Atkinson cycle) with 163 hp and a 90 hp electric engine, for a combined power of 196 hp.

The EcoBoost variants are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission (which in the Tremor adds sequential shifting with paddle shifters), while the hybrid offers an eCVT. All have independent rear suspension.
The Tremor version is the new Maverick's big new feature, featuring a copper-orange grille with a crossbar, matching front rescue hooks, and signature "Tremor" decals on the hood and sides.
It is equipped with an off-road package that includes exclusive features such as, for example, high-performance suspension with reinforced shock absorbers and springs (front and rear) with hydraulic stops, ground clearance 20 millimeters greater than other versions and a 10° wider angle of attack , to overcome obstacles with great ease.

The 4WD system (with the option of 50/50 locking of traction between both axles) is specific to this version and also includes a rear differential lock for superior traction and One-Pedal Trail Control, equivalent to an off-road cruise control system that allows one-pedal driving, ensuring better vehicle control on difficult terrain. The Tremor variant offers a spare tire of the same size as the other four wheels.
All versions of the New Maverick feature five driving modes (Normal, Tow, Slippery, Sport, and Eco), but the Tremor version adds an “Off-Road” mode calibrated to maximize its off-road performance.
The Ford Winter Experience's concept of closeness to users has one of its meeting points in Cariló. There, every day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.—and until August 3—you can learn about the brand's latest developments up close.

"You'll be able to find the new Ford Territory ," Belén Martín said about the updated SUV that was added to the Oval's lineup in the country in June. Next to it is the Maverick Tremor, one of the stars of Ford's actions on the Coast. "There are also the classic Ranger and F-150 pickups, and our Bronco product line with the Bronco V6 and the Bronco Sport," explained the Marketing and Communications Manager.
The winter schedule in Cariló featured more than just the Maverick Tremor. On different days, customers enjoyed the Bronco Experience, the Off-Road Experience by Ford Performance, and Everest Day, featuring the Oval brand's impressive seven-passenger SUV .
In addition to Ford Argentina's previously announced presence as the official sponsor of Cerro Castor in Tierra del Fuego, this winter Ford joined forces with Hertz for a joint initiative in Cerro Bayo, Neuquén province.
