All-wheel drive, 500 km of range, and 325 hp: this is the new Opel Grandland AWD.

Opel takes a new step in its electrification strategy with the arrival of the new Grandland Electric AWD, the brand's first 100% electric model to offer all-wheel drive. This top-of-the-range SUV from the German firm complements an already comprehensive range that includes 100% electric, plug-in hybrid, and 48V hybrid (mild-hybrid) options. In other words, they feature both Zero and Eco labels from the DGT (General Directorate of Traffic).
Following the announcement of the future high-performance electric GSe, Opel is strengthening its offering with a version of the Grandland that combines efficiency, dynamism, and the ability to handle all types of conditions. "With the Grandland Electric AWD, we are expanding our offering for those seeking maximum safety and driving fun in any situation," said Florian Huettl, CEO of Opel.

Aesthetically, this new Grandland maintains the family's distinctive features, such as the signature grille and illuminated Blitz logo, accompanied by advanced Intelli-Lux HD headlights. At the rear, the backlit "OPEL" lettering and the model name engraved on the tailgate without chrome are prominent. The new 20-inch two-tone wheels and optimized bumpers reinforce its sporty appearance while contributing to a more aerodynamic coefficient.

Under its bodywork, this version incorporates two electric motors—a 157 kW (213 hp) front motor and an 82 kW (112 hp) rear motor— for a total output of 239 kW (325 hp) and a maximum torque of 509 Nm. Powered by a 73 kWh battery, the Grandland Electric AWD offers up to 501 kilometers of homologated range and supports rapid charging from 20 to 80% in less than 30 minutes.
Driving modesThis new member of the Grandland family features four driving modes: Normal, 4WD, Sport, and Eco, which adapt performance to the needs of the moment, prioritizing efficiency or traction depending on the terrain. Despite its sustainable focus, performance is no slouch: it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.1 seconds.

Furthermore, comfort and dynamics are enhanced by a suspension equipped with Frequency Selective Shock Absorbers (FSR), capable of adapting response based on road surface type and driving style. The result is an SUV that promises precise response and stable cornering, as well as excellent setup for everyday use.
