Lancia, the Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale arrives

Lancia, the Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale arrives

Lancia's return to rallying is not just a wow-factor strategy but a real relaunch program followed, given the success of the trophy, by the official publication of some images of the Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale.

After the web and social networks went wild in recent weeks with people watching and commenting on the images of the tests of the Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale, Lancia has made its official announcement confirming the developments of this car.

There is no official information yet regarding the technical aspects of the car or whether it has already been homologated, but, according to what Luca Napolitano, CEO of Lancia, wrote on social media, the Stellantis brand will very soon debut in the WRC2, that is, in the world championship with a rally2 category car.

This announcement isn't a bolt from the blue; in fact, after more than 100 units of the Ypsilon HF rally4, a star of the Lancia Trophy, have been sold, Napolitano, during press meetings, repeatedly hinted that the Turin brand's rallying projects wouldn't stop there, but that it had a future with an international scope and a four-wheel drive vehicle.

We recall that since October last year, when the Ypsilon HF Rally4 was seen in action for the first time, the brand has launched the Lancia Trophy, presented the Ypsilon HF Racing and will soon release more detailed information on its upcoming sporting programmes.
