Dunlop Civ 2025: the Roma Capitale round lights up Vallelunga

The Dunlop Civ 2025 show is ready to thrill the public at the “Piero Taruffi” circuit in Vallelunga for its eagerly awaited third round , scheduled for 28 and 29 June and dedicated to Rome Capital . The event is one of the most eagerly awaited on the calendar and sees all the classes of the series take to the track accompanied by the inevitable trophies, but alongside the intense activity between the curbs there is space for side events, activities for the little ones and many initiatives that will make Vallelunga the epicentre of Italian motorcycling.
As for the Superbike class, the duel between the reigning champion Michele Pirro (Ducati Barni 51 Racing Lab) and his rising challenger Alessandro Delbianco (Yamaha Dmr Racing) is renewed, the latter with three victories in the four races held so far and a 22-point advantage over his multiple-titled rival. Trying to annoy the duelists are Gabriele Giannini (Honda Improve Firenze Motor), third in the championship, and the duo formed by Luca Vitali and Samuele Cavalieri (Team Broncos). Noteworthy is the absence of Nicolas Spinelli, busy at Assen with the MotoE and replaced for the occasion by Flavio Ferroni in the Aprilia Revo M2 team. In the Production Bike class, which shares the grid with Superbike, eyes will be on home hero Davide Stirpe (Ducati Garage 51 Racing Team by Dto) and Riccardo Russo (Bmw Team Pistard), fresh from a convincing one-two in the previous round at Mugello.
The first two seasonal rounds of the 2025 CIV have identified Luca Ottaviani (Mv Extreme Racing) as the first dominator of the Supersport 600 Ng class. The Abruzzo rider has so far left only crumbs to his opponents, winning all the races he has contested so far and also taking pole positions at both Misano and Mugello . However, his opponents are fierce and led by Xavier Artigas (Kawasaki Black Flag Motorsport), the emerging Mattia Rato (Ducati Mesaroli) and Stefano Valtulini (Yamaha Promodriver) while Andrea Mantovani (Ducati Scuderie D'ettore) is in turn forced to skip the Rome round due to his commitments in MotoE. To make the weekend even more interesting, there is also the Superpole Race on Sunday morning, a sprint race that will put further points up for grabs.
In Moto3 , the rider to beat will be the leader of the standings Elia Bartolini (Cr&s Smash91), threatened first and foremost by the Spaniard Marcos Ruda (Lucky Racing) and Valentino Sponga (We Race-Pos Corse) while there is great curiosity for the debut of another Iberian rider, Pablo Olivares Rodriguez, lined up by the Gp Project team also in the Supersport World Championship. The situation is very close in Premoto3 , where Lorenzo Pritelli (Buccimoto) is at the top of the standings despite not having won a race yet. Hot on his heels are Luca Rizzi and Alessandro Aguilar Carballo, but the standard-bearers of the Talenti Azzurri team, Luana Giuliani and Elisabetta Monti, also promise a battle. In the newly formed Sportbike, the leadership is instead in the hands of Mattia Sorrenti (Aprilia Nuova M2) ahead of Bruno Ieraci (Triumph Cm Racing), but great things are also expected from Paolo Grassia and the returning Pier Francesco Venturini.
As always, the program of the Rome Capital round includes two races for each category, the first scheduled for Saturday 28 and the second for Sunday 29 June. To enrich the program, as mentioned, there is the Superpole Race of the 600 Ng class on Sunday morning. As for the usual supporting trophies , the National Trophy 1000, the Pro Honda Cbr600rr Cup by Improve and the Yamaha R7 Cup will be present at the Vallelunga event. It should also be noted that throughout the weekend the Minimoto School dedicated to the little ones is active under the supervision of the Federation's technicians.
All the races of the Roma Capitale round of the Dunlop Civ 2025 are broadcast live as always on FedermotoTv , the official platform of the Italian Motorcycling Federation which is free for Fmi members, but are also offered by Sky Sport MotoGp, a satellite channel which inevitably pays more attention to the Dutch GP of the World Championship over the weekend.
