BYD opens a new office in central Milan

BYD is strengthening its presence in Italy with the opening of its new showroom on Via Quadrio in Milan, strategically located between Porta Garibaldi and Piazza Gae Aulenti. The recent inauguration is part of the Chinese brand's expansion strategy, which plans to have a network of over 100 showrooms in Italy by the end of 2025. The Italian market, BYD announced, represents a key area for the brand's growth in Europe: in the first nine months of 2025, sales of new energy vehicles (BEVs and PHEVs) increased compared to the previous year, with combustion engines declining to 45% of the total. The MHEV share remains dominant at 31%. In terms of after-sales service, the company commented that order processing time from the warehouse in the Netherlands is less than days, while the new warehouse in Italy is expected to be operational by the end of this month, with delivery times within 48 hours. The Shenzhen-based company, which this year entered the Fortune Global 500 Top 100 with revenue of $107 billion and over 4.2 million new energy vehicles sold worldwide, aims to consolidate its leadership through proprietary technologies such as the Blade Battery and e-Platform 3.0. Alongside its commercial expansion, BYD has announced 56 new service points by the end of the year and the opening of a spare parts warehouse in Italy to guarantee delivery times within 48 hours.
