Bmw Italia closes a very positive first half of 2025

Bmw Italia closes the first half of the year with growth, confirming and improving the performance that in 2024 allowed the Italian branch of the Munich group to secure leadership in the premium sector in Italy with the Bmw brand based on 39,712 units sold, +6.1%. Mini grows by 9.9% for a total of 7,742 units sold, to which is added the two-wheeled division Motorrad which confirms itself at the top of the premium market in the sectors over 500 cc and 750 cc with 9,491 motorcycles sold.

Electric sales also increased, reaching 3,704 sales, + 50.8%, to which are added the electrified ones which marked an increase of 40.1% up to 4,916 units sold, divided as follows: 2,543 BMW (+18.5%) and 1,161 Mini (+273%). “In the first half of 2025 - explained Massimiliano Di Silvestre, president and CEO of BMW Italy - we are confirming the prestigious results achieved in 2024. A result that is due in particular to the review of the brand strategy and a more modern customer-oriented approach”.

The positive trend of the semester is also due to the positive performances of the month of June that has just ended. Overall registrations were equal to 8,024 units of the BMW and Mini brands, up 14%. BMW reached a total of 6,687 units sold (+10.8%), while Mini with 1,337 units sold recorded a +33%. Sales of electric vehicles were also very positive, reaching 685 units sold, of which 461 BMW and 224 Mini for a growth of 26.6%.

To the balance of the sixth month of the year we must then add the registrations of electrified cars which have increased by 147.7% for a total of 1,226 units attributed to the BMW brand alone, given that Mini does not include plug-in hybrid models in its range at least for the moment. Finally, the two-wheeled Motorrad division of the Italian branch also sold 2,124 motorcycles in the month of June which represents an important growth of 5.2% if compared to the same month of June 2024.
