Rhône. The Lyon Motor Show is full of new products

The Lyon Motor Show opens its doors from Wednesday 24 to Sunday 28 September 2025 (Night Friday 26).

Year after year, this event has established itself as a must-attend event, not just in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, but nationwide. Indeed, this year's Lyon show has all the makings of a major event.

Manufacturers are making the trip in large numbers

First good news, 55 brands have confirmed their presence at this Lyon 2025 show,

some of which will be exhibiting for the first time, such as Aspark, Cadillac, Isuzu, Lynk & Co, Polestar, and Xpeng. But manufacturers are not content to simply honor this show with their presence, they are bringing many new products, including two world premieres.

Ferrari will unveil its Ferrari Amalfi, which has yet to be presented to the general public. Another global revelation is the Aspark Owl Roadster, a Japanese electric hypercar that promises to redefine performance standards in this ultra-exclusive segment.

French novelties

Stellantis is going all out with the new Citroën C5 Aircross, the restyled DS No. 4, the DS No. 8, which is aimed at the premium segment, the Peugeot E-208 GTI, the restyled 308, and the highly anticipated Alpine A390, which should allow the French manufacturer to position itself in the premium sports SUV segment.

European previews

Foreign manufacturers include the Lancia Ypsilon HF Line, while Nissan chooses Lyon for the European premieres of its new Micra and new-generation Leaf. Aston Martin unveils the new DBX S and the spectacular Vanquish Volante.

Dacia is making the trip with the Bigster, a C-segment family SUV positioned above the Duster. Audi will be exhibiting its new Audi Q3, BMW its iX3, Mercedes its CLA, and its limited-edition Moncler G-Class.

Also across the Rhine, Volkswagen will unveil the new T-Roc as well as a camouflaged version of the ID. Polo, the Wolfsburg-based manufacturer's highly anticipated affordable electric model.

Asian manufacturers in numbers

Mitsubishi is unveiling the Grandis and Eclipse Cross, Honda will mark the return of the legendary Prelude in the form of a hybrid sports coupe, and Isuzu is coming with its first electric pickup, the D-MAX EV.

Kia continues its electric offensive with the EV4 and EV5, Hyundai will be present with the Ioniq 9 and the 5-seater Inster version. Suzuki has chosen Lyon to unveil its e-Vitara to the French public. In China, Leapmotor presents its B10 SUV, BYD unveils its new Seal 6 DM-i sedan and Touring hybrids.

New things galore

Polestar is taking advantage of the Lyon Motor Show to make its debut in France with two models, the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4. Cadillac is unveiling the Vistiq SUV and Jeep is unveiling its new Compass.

Let's not forget the Bentley Continental GT Hybrid, Cadillac Lyriq, Cupra Tribe Edition, restyled Honda Civic, Lamborghini Urus SE, Lexus RZ and ES, Lotus Evija, Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and ASX Hybrid 160 hp, Opel Mokka GSE Rallye, Skoda Vision O, Tesla Model Y Performance, Toyota C-HR + and bZ4X, Volvo ES 90, Xpeng G6 and G9 and many other surprises, starting with the supercars.

Prestigious cars at the rendezvous

For the very first time at the Lyon Motor Show, an entire hall will be dedicated to prestige cars, bringing together the biggest supercar brands, including Aston Martin, Porsche, Lotus, Lamborghini, Bentley, Maserati, McLaren and Ferrari, which will present the Ferrari Amalfi to the public for the first time in the world.

An area dedicated to hypercars brings together twelve exceptional models.
