Motorcycle. With the Flying Flea C6, Royal Enfield is launching into electric two-wheelers.

Let's start with a bit of history because the Flying Flea wasn't a motorcycle line, but a motorcycle with a combustion engine intended for the army during the Second World War. This "flying flea," the translation of Flying Flea, was produced to be parachuted onto the front lines, just like the Willys Jeep.

It was a lightweight and compact motorcycle designed for military use. The new Flying Flea captures the spirit of this, being lightweight and compact but with a completely different purpose and powered by an electric motor.

This Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 was presented at the EICMA 2024 show and will arrive in our dealerships in spring 2026. Its equipment is modern even if its curves recall the original, and with its performance, it has in its sights the Super Soco brand that we know well in the cities.

This model, the C6 or FF-C6, is the very first model from Flying Flea, the electric brand of Royal Enfield, and a real gamble.

The design combines the past and modernity

In terms of style, we find on this new C6 the general line of the frame which is now in aluminum from the steering column to the swingarm linked by a mono shock absorber under the seat.

We notice the false tank placed under the frame like on the motorcycles of the 30s, the shape of the engine casing (electric now) which takes the shape of that of the thermal engines of Royal Enfield and of course the very successful parallelogram fork.

The battery is non-removable and housed in a magnesium holder. All this is modernity in a retro style.

For modernity, we notice the old-fashioned round dashboard, but this one is digital and tactile, there is no needle. We navigate the menus with modern and ergonomic controls that give access to all the available functions including the driving modes on the left handle.

On this C6, you can swap the left and right footrests to move your feet forward or back as you wish, which can be nice for those with long legs or who prefer a more seated position.

On the Flying Flea C6 the battery is non-removable.

Like many electric vehicles, Royal Enfield deploys advanced technology for the safety and range of its motorcycle. To this end, the C6 is equipped with a VCU (Vehicle Control Unit) that constantly analyzes a host of parameters to best adapt battery and engine management. This VCU is automatically updated with OTA wireless technology to take advantage of the latest developments.

For safety, this Flying Flea C6 is equipped with traction control, ABS braking on cornering and cruise control for expressways. The driving modes allow you to choose the throttle response as well as regenerative braking according to your needs (economy, comfort, performance, etc.).

This machine is equivalent to a 125cc Royal Enfield tells us with a power of 15 horsepower, the maximum legal with a car license. It would be capable of reaching around 110 km of autonomy and displays around 120 kg on the scale. What is interesting is the integrated charger that will allow us to take advantage of the public charging network, but we do not yet know the types of charging accepted. According to Royal Enfield, it takes 1 hour 30 to recharge its C6. The launch of the Flying Flea C6 is planned for the spring of 2026 and the price is not yet known but it is rumored that it would be around €6000. To be confirmed.
