Motocross. Yann Crnjanski and the Alsatians blow hot air in Mothern

For the fifth and final Alsatian stopover of a regional championship featuring twelve events, Haut-Rhinois and Bas-Rhinois came close to the grand slam this Sunday in Mothern.

With the exception of the 85cc hopefuls and kids who also ride in the Grand Est championship and the veterans where the Lorrainers are dominant, they put on a show and blew hot air on an impeccable Hinterberg circuit despite the 35°C in the shade.

“Get undressed quickly so you don’t get cooked.”

Fifteen days after the deluge in Bourg-Bruche, the heatwave in turn brought drops of sweat – and not cold this time – to the backs of the 150 or so bikers competing and the thousand spectators present (*).

But the work of President Philip Weisenberger and his team, who were on the job from five o'clock in the morning to harrow and water the ground, allowed the protagonists to discuss their views in optimal conditions.
