Maintenance, fuel, credit... The car, essential for the majority of French people, weighs down the wallet

Cars are still essential items for the majority of French people, but they are becoming increasingly expensive. This is the conclusion of a study conducted by the insurer Leocare, in which 74% of respondents believe that cars are now considered a luxury item. Maintaining them can cost up to three months' salary per year.
