Bourg-en-Bresse. Death of Claude Garry, former director of Garry Bresse Moteurs

"The family business was his baby," says Adeline Buellet, president of Garry Bresse Moteurs, about its former manager, Claude Garry, who died at the end of last week at the age of 66. Born on April 20, 1959, Claude Garry joined the family gardening business in 1977, which had been run by his father, Pierre Garry, since 1962. In 1998, he took over as CEO and led a large team currently made up of 63 employees, spread across four agencies.
In Ambérieu-en-Bugey, Bourg-en-Bresse, Macon, as well as Cessy, Claude Garry had been able to "create a good working environment," according to Adeline Buellet. She adds: "He was simple, attentive and accessible. He was there when we took over the company, he gave us a lot of autonomy, but, even retired, he often came to see us." Since Claude Garry's retirement in 2018, Garry Bresse Moteurs has been run by his employees , who emphasize the confidence he had in them.
Adeline Buellet remembers a sporty, social person, "an example, the last of the Garrys to have run the company," she concludes.
