Toyota has hit the ground running. It's created an ideal vehicle for everyday use, taking the kids to school or shopping; but also for a weekend getaway to the mountains, and, who knows, maybe even a longer trip or a longer stay if you dare. It's the Toyota Proace City Verso Minicamper , a collaboration between Toyota and camper conversion specialist Tinkervan, who have custom-configured a Proace City Verso to convert it into a camper that can be enjoyed by couples, family, and friends, offering a multitude of options for spending a few days in the mountains hiking, skiing, heading straight to the beach, or getting lost wherever you choose.
Priced at €37,446, up to four people can live in the house with a range of standard features, including an indoor and outdoor table, two 12V and two USB ports, a dual 2.5 Ah USB port, three built-in LED lights, and interior curtains for maximum privacy, among other options.

The Proace City Verso will feature an extra passenger seat, so you can enjoy the lounge configuration inside your vehicle. It also features a 1.90 x 1.15 meter bed over the three rear seats, and a 10-liter shower. Not to mention a mattress, a removable sliding tray in the trunk, and a 10-liter shower.

It's also equipped with a bike rack that can hold two bikes. Because when you're on a mountain adventure, you always want to do some exercise. Surfing, for example, wouldn't be a feasible option because the space wouldn't allow for boards, but you can always rent them and nothing will stop you.

Pop-up roof with front opening, allowing you to stand upright inside the vehicle, with a maximum interior height of 2.4 meters. Equipped with two side windows with mosquito nets, a winter window, and a large panoramic window. The elevating bed has a 1.95 x 1.05 m frame, a wooden slatted base, and a rear height of 35 cm.

So, it's well-equipped to allow you to do many things outside the home during a weekend. Tell me, what more do you need than a bed, or two, to choose your preferred location, or if you're four people and not a couple? A refrigerator, a shower (you have to be brave with cold water, but it's summer), and the option of creating a mini lounge inside or setting up a whole outdoor space.
What's missing, in my opinion? Cooking. But it's easily solved with a portable camping gas stove. Breakfast and whatever meals you crave will be served. All you have to do is enjoy nature and the outdoors.
