Toyota reinvents getaways with its new Proace Camper and City Verso MiniCamper.

Toyota is focusing on outdoor getaways and weddings with its new and updated PROACE Verso Camper and PROACE City Verso MiniCamper ranges.

These models transform the way we travel, allowing you to enjoy nature and adventure without sacrificing the comfort of an everyday vehicle. Both models have been converted into camper vans in collaboration with specialist Tinkervan, as part of the ToyotaSeAdapta program, which seeks to meet customers' mobility needs through custom-built adaptations.

The Toyota PROACE Verso Camper offers flexibility with two engine options—a 145 hp 2.0 D and a 180 hp 2.0 D engine—available with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. There are also two body sizes (L1 medium and L2 long) and four trim levels: OUTFUN, NOMAD, NOMAD PLUS, and the exclusive NOMAD PLUS HOME.

For its part, the Toyota PROACE City Verso MiniCamper comes with a 130 HP 1.5D engine, six-speed manual transmission, long body (L2) and three finishes: OUTFUN, NOMAD and NOMAD PLUS.

Both models, the PROACE Verso Camper and PROACE City Verso MiniCamper, share a series of common features designed for life on the road. These include an indoor and outdoor table, an external auxiliary battery (100 Ah for the PROACE Verso and 80 Ah for the PROACE City Verso), multiple 12V and USB outlets, three integrated LED lights, and interior curtains to ensure maximum privacy. The PROACE Verso adds the option of swivel seats for the driver and co-driver, while the PROACE City Verso can incorporate an extra seat for the co-driver, facilitating the lounge configuration.

The OUTFUN trim, the base camper version, offers simplicity and practicality with essentials such as a bed and a portable shower (12 liters in the Camper, 10 liters in the MiniCamper). For those looking for more, the NOMAD and NOMAD PLUS versions raise the bar. The NOMAD PLUS also includes auxiliary diesel heating with a programmable external battery and additional USB ports.

The NOMAD and NOMAD PLUS variants introduce significant improvements, such as the innovative bed seat with a storage drawer and a raised floor on guides, which optimize interior space and safety with Isofix anchors. The NOMAD version of the PROACE Verso Camper stands out for its pop-up roof, which reaches up to 2.5 meters in maximum height (with the roof open), creating a more livable and bright interior space. This roof integrates two large windows with mosquito nets and a winter window, along with a comfortable 2 x 1.30 meter bed. For the first time, the NOMAD version with pop-up roof also comes to the PROACE City Verso MiniCamper, offering a maximum interior height of 2.40 meters and a 1.95 x 1.05 meter bed.

The NOMAD PLUS HOME version is the most fully equipped option in the PROACE Verso Camper range. It includes all the NOMAD PLUS accessories and adds fixed storage modules, a removable kitchen and sink module (for indoor or outdoor use), and a 40-liter refrigerator. This variant, available exclusively on the PROACE Verso Family Advance L1, transforms the vehicle into a true home on wheels, ideal for longer and more comfortable adventures.

To further customize the camper experience, Toyota offers a range of optional accessories. These include a 220V external power outlet (for the PROACE Verso Camper), ultralight folding chairs, a removable bed frame kit for beginners, awnings, and bike racks that can accommodate two bikes on the PROACE City Verso and up to four on the PROACE Verso.

The new Toyota PROACE Verso Camper and Toyota PROACE City Verso MiniCamper can now be configured at the Official Toyota Spain Dealer Network. Prices for the OUTFUN version start at €37,446 for the PROACE City Verso MiniCamper Family L2 Active and €34,427 for the PROACE Verso Camper Shuttle VX L1.
