The Testarossa is back: over 1,000 horsepower for the most powerful Ferrari in history.

The Testarossa is back in the spotlight, and that's great news for fans of the Prancing Horse brand and this particular model, which was once one of the most admired.

There have been few hypercars in the last four decades that have been able to command such a massive amount of attention, an object of desire for many and a success for a select few who, starting in 1984, were able to enjoy its spectacular lines and dazzling performance extracted from a muscular V12.

The new-era Testarossa, of course, will adapt to technological changes and will be powered by an 830-horsepower hybrid V8 assisted by three electric motors (two at the front and one at the rear) that will collectively deliver 1,050 hp. This translates into undeniable performance: 0-100 km/h in 2.3 seconds and a top speed of 330 km/h.

We're talking about the most powerful Ferrari in history, which strives to preserve the essence of the original model, as seen in its elongated nose and compact rear end, all of which is complemented by the significant aerodynamic downforce that a new-era sports car should have, including an active rear spoiler.

Called to replace the SF90 Stradale, the 849 Testarrosa (this is its new commercial name) features a minimalist and very sporty interior, with enough physical buttons to not completely forget its famous predecessor.

Ferrari has already confirmed that sales will begin next year , and all rumors point to a price tag of around half a million euros , a stratospheric figure, though in line with the many good things contained in such a coveted, long-awaited, and exclusive recreation .
