The radical Swedish hypercar born to smash records

Some cars are meant solely to take us from one place to another, but others are destined to break records. That's the vision of the spectacular Sadair's Spear hypercar , manufactured by the Swedish firm Koenigsegg. Compared to the Jesko Attack, on which it's based, it offers more power, less weight, better aerodynamics, and improvements in every aspect.
It was clear from the first tests that this version surpasses the Jesko Attack. The Sadair's Spear raced on the Gotland Ring in Sweden and completed a lap of the circuit 1.1 seconds faster than the model on which it is based. It's worth noting that the Jesko Attack broke the previous record with a lap time of this circuit eight seconds faster than the previous record holder, the Porsche GT3 RS.

Like its base model, the Sadair's Spear is powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine and features a transmission controlled by paddle shifters. However, Koenigsegg has increased its power through a series of engineering improvements. The first is the redesign of the air intakes. The increased engine ventilation capacity has added a whopping 25 hp.
The Swedish automaker has also introduced engine calibration and improved oil cooling capacity. All of this makes the vehicle a new milestone in Koenigsegg's performance evolution.
Total power output now reaches an impressive 1,625 hp. The car has also been aerodynamically modified to meet the new performance figures. Compared to the base Jesko, it features a new upper-mounted, double-wing active rear spoiler to increase downforce and a longer tail section to improve stability.

The wheel arch vents have also been refined. Koenigsegg has enlarged the front wings and redesigned the hood vents, including the installation of new Gurney flaps. Specially designed 7-spoke turbine-style carbon fiber Aircore wheels, shod with wider tires, have also been fitted.
Beneath the revamped bodywork, the manufacturer has installed improved mechanical components. Each wheel is equipped with multi-layer carbon-ceramic brakes and connected to a specific suspension system based on, among other elements, in-house Triplex shock absorbers and the Active Ride Height system.
Lightness has been a top priority, and that's why the hypercar features a minimalist center console between the redesigned carbon fiber seats. The manufacturer claims that Sadair's Spear is 35 kg lighter than the vehicle on which it is based. It's worth noting that only 30 units of this exclusive car will be produced, and all have owners even before production.
