Oscar Piastri wins at Zandvoort; Hadjar surprises with his first podium finish
The Dutch Grand Prix, held at the Zandvoort circuit, gave Oscar Piastri another victory of the season, consolidating the Australian driver and McLaren's dominance in the world championship.
The race began with a monotonous pace, marked by few overtaking attempts and long periods without significant changes at the top of the field. However, tensions mounted in the closing laps after Lando Norris retired due to a power unit failure in his McLaren . The situation prompted the deployment of the safety car, which reorganized the race and allowed Max Verstappen to climb to second place in front of his home crowd.

The young Frenchman of Algerian origin crossed the finish line in third place, a result celebrated enthusiastically in the RB pits, who saw their work rewarded with a historic milestone for the 20-year-old driver.
The downside was for Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton. The Monegasque and British drivers retired from the competition after separate incidents that severely damaged their cars, although both emerged unharmed. These results significantly impact their aspirations in the drivers' championship.
With this victory, Piastri remains firmly at the top of the world championship and McLaren strengthens its path towards the constructors' championship.
