New KTM 690 Enduro R and 690 SMC R 2026, with the most powerful single-cylinder on the market

KTM is once again fighting the market after its difficult financial situation and is once again announcing a large and renewed range of models, such as the recently presented 690 Enduro R and 690 SMC R , both with the legendary single-cylinder LC4 engine.
The Austrian firm confirms in both versions a significant update that affects its style, improves its technology and renews its engine, which becomes the most powerful single-cylinder on the market, with 79 hp and 73 Nm of torque .
The all-terrain KTM 690 Enduro R 2026
Its versatility is reinforced with comprehensive updates that enhance its off-road capability and on-road refinement. It is powered by the latest version of the Euro 5+ compliant LC4 single-cylinder engine , now with a revised crankcase, clutch, and stator cover, and a redesigned lubrication system for greater reliability and improved performance.

It also features a new 4.2-inch full-color TFT instrument cluster, redesigned combination switches, a USB-C charging port, and an LED headlight.
As for electronics , it includes cornering ABS, cornering MTC and the new Dynamic Slip Adjust system (dynamic slip adjustment and available in the optional RALLY driving mode).
The bodywork features sharper lines, and updated suspension components add comfort and feel both on and off the road.
The Supermoto, KTM 690 SMC R 2026
It has been further refined to remain the benchmark in the Supermoto segment. The bodywork features a more aggressive design. And as in the Enduro R, the updated LC4 engine offers increased performance and efficiency , while the refined suspension improves road response and agility.

Technological upgrades include a 4.2" full-color TFT instrument panel, updated combination switches, and lean-angle-sensitive riding aids such as Cornering ABS and Cornering MTC . Selectable Riding Modes and customizable ABS modes ensure the bike can be adapted to all riding styles and environments. Smartphone connectivity is available via KTM Connect.
