StatementsJosé López-Tafall, general manager of Anfac, stated , "The electrified market continues its good run. As last month, June surpassed 20,000 sales of electrified passenger cars, of which more than 11,000 were pure electric, accounting for one in five sales for the month. So far this year, the market share is already close to 17%. A more than favorable situation for electrification."
But López-Tafall also pointed out that , "While these are all notable figures, the electrified market in Spain needs to accelerate even further. Compared to Europe , we are still below the average, which is 24%. We need to improve the efficiency of purchasing aid, strengthen the publicly accessible charging network, and increase the visibility of road signs. These are all parts of a positive message for citizens. Without forgetting the need to stop confusing citizens with some proposals and messages that, frankly, seem to only seek to eliminate the vehicle as a mobility option."
