Hot Wheels Legends Tour revs engines in Spain and Portugal

Adrenaline and passion for automotive racing are once again ignited in Spain and Portugal with the opening of registration for the Hot Wheels Legends Tour.
This traveling event, considered the largest of its kind in the world, invites fans from the Iberian Peninsula to submit their applications for the prestigious Garage of Legends title for the fourth time.
More than just a competition, it's a unique opportunity for automotive project creators to demonstrate their creativity and dedication, hoping to see their car transformed into an iconic 1:64 scale Hot Wheels model.
Car enthusiasts have until July 7 to access the online registration process through the Eurocrew website. Using a digital form, participants must explain why they believe their project has the potential to transcend and become a true Hot Wheels legend. Once registration closes, the process will move into qualifying and elimination phases, where a popular vote on the Eurocrew online platform will determine the best car in each category.

The 2025 Hot Wheels Legends Tour features five categories designed to embrace the diversity of custom motorsports: Stance (perfectly fitted builds), Import (consistent aesthetics and JDM components), MotorSport (focused on competition), Modified (rare builds and extreme builds), and Retro (restored and modified vehicles worthy of their era). Each category strives for excellence and uniqueness, key elements to impress the judging panel and the public.
The five projects with the most votes in these initial phases will earn their place in the grand finale in Spain and Portugal, which will take place on September 20 and 21 at the legendary Jarama Circuit in Madrid. On the track, a top-level professional jury will be in charge of analyzing and evaluating every detail of the finalist cars to determine the winning project. Confirmed judges include Mario Godoy, Hot Wheels product designer (who will travel exclusively from Los Angeles), Santi Gracia (2024 national winner), and Carlos García-Alcaníz, expert journalist for Car and Driver magazine. A fourth member will be revealed in the coming weeks.
The jury's evaluations at the Madrid final will be based on three essential criteria: Authenticity, seeking to ensure the vehicle stands out and pushes the boundaries of automotive design; Creativity, appreciating the unique details that distinguish each entry; and Garage Spirit, recognizing the commitment, drive, and hard work behind each project. These pillars ensure that the chosen car is not only spectacular but also embodies the Hot Wheels brand philosophy.
The winner from the Iberian Peninsula will advance to a regional final, where they will compete against the champions from Europe and the Middle East. Subsequently, the winners of this regional phase, along with those from Latin America and the United States, will compete in the virtual World Grand Final. This final stage will produce the car that will be immortalized as a 1:64 scale Hot Wheels miniature, becoming a permanent part of the illustrious Garage of Legends.
The Hot Wheels Legends Tour 2025 has already demonstrated its impressive turnout in Spain. The first stop, at MotorLand Aragón, drew more than 6,000 people, while the second, held on May 10 and 11 at the Navarra Circuit (Los Arcos), surpassed 11,500 attendees. At the latter, four "Golden Tickets" (direct passes to the final stages) were awarded to projects as diverse as a Renault Express, a Honda Civic EJ2, a Moto Sidecar, and a Volvo 244, promising an exciting finale at the Jarama.
