Honda confirms the arrival of its CUV e: electric scooter, with 70 km of range and connectivity.

Honda remains firm on its electrification plans for its two-wheeler range. The Japanese giant, which until now has shown little urgency in developing plug-in motorcycles for the European market, now appears ready to take on the challenge, announcing the arrival of 30 electric models by 2030. It also aims to achieve carbon neutrality for its entire motorcycle range by 2040.
After discovering the EM1 e: (50 cc style) in 2023, the automotive house has just made official the arrival of its second electric model, the CUV e: (125 cc style), starting in September, which promises more autonomy, performance and standard equipment.
It uses a dual Honda Mobile Power Pack e: battery pack to power its 6kW E-Drive side motor, which develops a top speed of 83km/h, delivers 22Nm of torque, with a range of over 70km (based on internal Honda testing), and includes the Reverse Assist function. Charging times from 0 to 100% are 6 hours and less than 3 hours from 25 to 75%; the custom-built charging socket allows customers to charge in the comfort of their own home.

Sleek and modern, it features LED lights front and rear. It also features a reversing assist, a USB-C charging port, a Smart Key proximity key, a small interior glove compartment in the fairing, and storage under the seat. The CUV e: is also equipped with a five-inch TFT display , or a seven-inch display (optional). The body will be available in the following color options: Jubilee White Pearl, Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, and Premium Silver Metallic.
The chassis features a steel frame coupled with a 26mm telescopic front fork and a rear monoshock, as well as 12-inch wheels.
With the arrival of the CUV e: also comes the Honda Roadsync Duo app: specifically for electric vehicles, it uses a seven-inch TFT display and provides intelligent navigation to facilitate travel. Linked to basic vehicle functions, such as battery status, the route is continuously monitored and modified to offer the driver the most appropriate options. The Over The Air (OTA) update function ensures that drivers can always enjoy the latest generation of the operating system.
Honda has confirmed that the new CUV e: will be available at dealerships from September 2025, priced at €4,000 (includes two batteries and two chargers) for the version with a 5-inch screen, and €4,550 (includes two batteries and two chargers) for the version with a 7-inch screen.
