Buying a luxury car isn't affordable for everyone. People who choose this type of vehicle seek a combination of factors, including social status, personal satisfaction, and a superior driving experience.

These vehicles often symbolize success and achievement, offering advanced technology and increased performance. However, there are those who regret their purchase, no longer using the car and eventually returning it to the brand.

This is the case of a driver who opted for an Aston Martin Valkyrie. Despite having purchased it three years ago and having driven only 441 km, the man has asked the brand to cancel his purchase. The reason? The engine makes it hard for him to hear ambulances.

As Hanselblatt revealed, the German driver bought it for three million euros in 2018, and since taking delivery of it in 2022, he's only been able to notice its numerous flaws. The owner claims the Valkyrie "has more defects than all my other cars combined," suing the brand and demanding a refund.

The driver claims that shortly after acquiring the incredible car, he discovered it had an electrical fault and that when he took it to the repair shop, it was damaged during transport. The Aston Martin also experienced issues with the Rocket Locker system, which prevents its hydraulic suspension from sagging when the car is left stationary for long periods of time.

However, the final straw was the car's owner's near-accident with an ambulance in late August 2024. The Cosworth engine is so loud that it obstructed the emergency vehicle's hearing, which is why the Valkyrie is equipped with a microphone system that records outside noise and plays it back through headphones.

According to the driver, these headphones didn't work, and he almost had an accident with an ambulance because there was no way to hear it approaching. The brand claims that even if he were able to return his Valkyrie, he would be charged £55,000 (€64,000 at the current exchange rate) in compensation for the 441 km the vehicle has traveled.

Like all hypercars, the Aston Martin Valkyrie turns heads wherever it goes and is a dream come true for any motoring enthusiast. And it's no wonder, because its spectacular design is complemented by breathtaking credentials: its 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine developed by Cosworth develops over 1,000 hp and, with the help of an electric motor, produces a maximum power of 1,176 hp, enough to propel the 1,355 kg vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h in just over 2.5 seconds and to exceed 350 km/h.
