Ford launched the Mustang Dark Horse: what it looks like and how much the most powerful version of the legendary sports car costs in the country.

Ford Argentina announced the launch of the Mustang Dark Horse , a version that maintains the traditional V8 engine of the famous sports car, but comes with more power and a sportier setup.
Last year, the oval brand launched the seventh generation of this muscle car in Argentina, with the traditional GT 5.0 version featuring the iconic Coyote V8. This model has evolved in power and handling.
Now, with the arrival of the Dark Horse, it raises the bar even further with an even more exclusive variant, both in terms of performance and appearance : this version comes with a specific treatment and includes a new variation on the traditional wild colt that identifies the model.
Its shape remains inspired by the model launched in 1964, with the characteristic proportions that have always defined the Mustang, with a long hood and aggressive nose, and a shorter rear end, defining its sporty silhouette.
The Mustang Dark Horse is available for pre-order at official Mustang dealerships and is offered in white, black, and gray, the latter with a special hue that debuted with this version.
Ford Mustang Dark Horse offers 507 horsepower.
Last year, on the 60th anniversary of its launch, Ford brought the Mustang GT Performance to Argentina, featuring a new design, more power, and superior equipment.
With more than 10 million units sold throughout its history , the Mustang is a global icon that has transcended the borders of the United States. It has been the world's best-selling sports coupe of the last decade and the best-selling model in Argentina since 2016, with more than 600 units delivered to customers and fans.
According to the brand, the Mustang Dark Horse's distinction lies in its engineering, focused on achieving agile and sporty handling. Its heart is equipped with the fourth generation of the iconic Coyote V8 engine, a 32-valve V8 engine with direct and indirect multipoint injection.
The Ford Mustang Dark Horse's dual screen is highly configurable.
It is more efficient than its predecessors thanks to lighter materials and advanced injection, lubrication, cooling and variable valve timing systems: this engine delivers 507 hp of power (compared to the 492 of the GT Performance) and 567 Nm of torque, which gives it an acceleration capacity of 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds .
Power is transmitted to the rear axle via a Torsen rear differential with cooling system. It features a MagneRide adaptive suspension system (first introduced on the previous-generation Mach 1 and now also featured on the GT-Performance) but with specific calibration for the Dark Horse, optimized for superior track performance. In addition, the active exhaust system with valve adjustment allows for the exhaust sound to be modified.
The high-performance braking system features Brembo calipers with six pistons at the front and four at the rear, and discs designed to dissipate heat. It is fitted with Pirelli P-Zero tires in sizes 255/40 R19 for the front axle and 275/40 R19 for the rear.
The electronic management of the system allows you to choose between five driving modes that modify different parameters affecting handling: Normal, Slippery, Sport, Track, and Drag Track.
The Ford Mustang Dark Horse shows the model's traditional pony from the front.
For enthusiasts, it includes what Ford calls Track Apps, which offers Line Lock for tire warm-up, timers and performance metrics , allowing you to view additional measurement instruments such as lateral G-forces, acceleration and braking, among others.
Like the GT Performance version, it features the Drift Brake, an electric handbrake specifically designed to safely initiate and control drifting maneuvers on the track.
Aesthetically, the Mustang Dark Horse is distinguished by its darkened LED headlights, while the hood features matte black stripes and the “Dark Horse” legend on each side.
The visual identity is reinforced by the Dark Horse emblem, which for the first time displays the iconic colt from the front . It also features 19-inch matte black wheels with an exclusive design, and at the rear, a new black spoiler and a dual exhaust system with four 4.5-inch black outlets.
Inside, it features a 13.2-inch touchscreen integrated into the 12.4-inch digital instrument panel. Both are fully customizable, allowing you to select colors and graphics, and work together. This system offers wireless compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Its safety package includes 7 airbags (2 front, 2 side, 2 curtain and 1 knee for the passenger) and the advanced Ford Co-Pilot 360 package, with different driving assistance systems.
The new Mustang Dark Horse is now available for pre-sale, with a suggested retail price of $128,500,000 and a three-year/100,000-kilometer warranty.
