The Skoda Epiq will be a hot topic. It's still a concept car, but with a bold, minimalist design and innovative elements that highlight practical solutions, the Epiq will be the ideal companion for everyday use, while also being suitable for longer journeys. Specifically, a compact urban crossover SUV measuring 4.1 meters in length that comfortably seats five, boasts an impressive 475-liter trunk, and a range of up to 425 kilometers.
It will be manufactured at the Volkswagen Navarra plant in Spain as part of a joint development and production project within the Volkswagen Group of Companies (BGC). With the EUCF initiative, the BGC aims to democratize electric mobility for future generations by introducing four attractive and affordable electric cars from three different brands. The production version is scheduled for its world premiere in mid-2026.

The starting price of the future production model is expected to be comparable to its internal combustion engine counterpart, the Kamiq, in many markets, positioning it as the most affordable electric vehicle in Skoda's growing range. This further underscores the Czech automaker's commitment to meeting the growing demand for sustainable and accessible mobility solutions.
The Epiq is the first Skoda model to fully adopt the brand's new Modern Solid design language, applied both inside and out. This philosophy combines robustness, functionality, and authenticity, clearly reflected in the concept car's bold, minimalist styling. The Cashmere matte paint is combined with a gloss black Tech-Deck Face, framed by T-shaped LED daytime running lights and indicators. The headlights are positioned lower, accentuating the robust front bumper with its Cosmo Grey-finished spoiler. A new tornado line visually separates the body sections, giving the vehicle a robust appearance and distinguishing the glass-enclosed cockpit from the rest of the car, creating a dynamic and contemporary look.

The interior focuses on usability and everyday practicality. The Epiq offers ample storage options and clever luggage solutions, such as bag hooks, locks, and hidden underfloor compartments. Reflecting Skoda's "Mobile First" approach, the interior is minimalist and functional, featuring wireless phone charging, Simply Clever compartments, as well as physical buttons and haptic scroll wheels. This combination of practicality and clever design ensures the Epiq meets the needs of both families and lifestyle-oriented customers.
