Corvette ZR1X: 1,250 horsepower and a design that evokes the past
Chevrolet has unveiled details of the new 2026 Corvette ZR1X, an "American hypercar" that is billed as the most advanced Corvette ever.
With 1,250 horsepower and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in less than two seconds, this new model hits the market with a starting price of $207,395.
In addition to the pricing announcement, the brand has revealed a limited-production special edition: the Corvette ZR1X Quail Silver Limited Edition.
This exclusive version will be available only in the 3LZ convertible body style and is distinguished by its high-end finishes and a historic feature: the first production paint finish, called Blade Silver Matte, offered by Chevrolet since the 1960s.
1957-1959 C1 Corvette
The Blade Silver Matte paint, inspired by the Inca Silver color of the 1957-1959 C1 Corvette, marks a “significant moment” for the brand. Phil Zak, executive director of Global Chevrolet design, said, “This new finish creates a distinctive, premium feel and offers a rare opportunity to own a truly unique expression of the Corvette.”

This special edition, starting at $241,395, not only includes the exclusive paint, but also an interior featuring a Sky Cool and Medium Ash Gray color scheme with Habanero accents, orange brake calipers, black exhaust tips, and Carbon Flash-painted mirrors. Each vehicle will feature a commemorative plaque with a limited-edition number.
The Corvette ZR1X Quail Silver Limited Edition will make its official debut at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering in Carmel, California, on August 15. Production of this exclusive version will begin next year.
The Corvette ZR1X will be available in late 2025 and will be proudly built at the General Motors plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
