A390, This will be Alpine's first sport fastback

Since the creation of the A390, the objectives guiding Alpine's engineering have been clear from the outset: to give the A390, a 5-seat sport fastback, the agility and driving pleasure of the A110. It integrates all of Alpine's dynamic DNA , with performance at the highest level of the brand's models, while offering the space of a 5-seater.
For the final tests before the A390 goes on sale, the dynamic performance of Alpine's sport fastback is tested at the advanced technology center in Ladoux, Auvergne. Its 4,100 m wet-weather test track is ideal for pushing the A390's handling to the limit with its two dedicated Michelin tire options, 20 and 21 inches.

A perfect playing field for testing the technologies that equip the A390 and determine its dynamic behavior: its three electric motors that enable the action of Alpine Active Torque Vectoring and its five driving modes, including the new Track Mode, which adjusts the ESC (Electronic Stability Control) settings. The teams are thus validating the mapping of these different technological blocks.
The A390 is equipped with specific tires developed with Michelin, identifiable by their A39 marking: the 20-inch Pilot Sport EV and the 21-inch Pilot Sport 4S.

The Alpine Drive Sound system is also included in the Ladoux test program to accompany the driver throughout their journey, whether in everyday driving or in more sporty conditions. As with the A290, Alpine has created two specific sounds for its new model. The sportier one is inspired by the A110's sound, but without attempting to reproduce the sound of a combustion engine. The second sound, more geared toward everyday use, has fewer low frequencies. Both can be adjusted to two intensity levels and can even be turned off completely.
