The Car Connectivity Award is becoming a Tech Award: For the twelfth time, auto motor und sport, together with its sister magazine MO/OVE, is organizing this major reader poll focusing on technological innovations and connectivity in cars. To reflect newer developments that have less to do with connectivity, we're renaming the competition the "auto motor und sport Tech Award" starting this year. Such developments can concern electric car batteries, clever hybrid systems, or innovations in combustion engines.

This changes a lot: Starting this year, there are three vehicle categories to choose from. We want to know which electric, plug-in hybrid, or combustion engine models you consider particularly innovative. The wallbox category has also been expanded to include energy management systems. After all, a wallbox is more than just a powerful power outlet. Integration into the building's control system significantly expands its benefits.

We're also interested in your assessment of infotainment and assistance systems. In other words, which manufacturer has the best route guidance, the highest-contrast screen, or the most helpful online feature that makes traveling easier? The mobile networks and telematics tariffs for car insurance categories have also remained unchanged. With telematics tariffs that analyze driving behavior, you can save up to 40 percent on car insurance premiums.

You can cast exactly one vote in each category. The deadline for submitting entries for the Tech Award 2025 is July 15, 2025. Voting will be conducted exclusively online.

After voting, you'll have the opportunity to answer additional questions. Answering these questions is voluntary and does not affect your chances of winning. Be sure to provide your address so we can notify you if you win.

We will raffle off a main prize of 5,000 euros (bank transfer) among all participants in the auto motor und sport Tech Award 2025 and/or the autonis 2025 reader's choice.

Each participant may only vote once. Any reader 18 years of age or older is eligible to participate, except for employees of the Motor Presse Stuttgart publishing group and their families. Legal recourse and participation via list are excluded.
