Opel Grandland (2025): New Genuine Accessories

Opel Grandland (2025): New Genuine Accessories

It's actually been more than a year since Opel unveiled its new "top-of-the-line" SUV. The second-generation Grandland has grown significantly to 4.65 meters and now competes with established (in the truest sense) giants like the VW Tiguan, the Skoda Kodiaq, and the Dacia Bigster.

You have to offer a lot. A generous amount of space, for example. In our test , the new Grandland delivered this in all seats. However, most competitors offer more than the 550 to 1,645 liters of trunk space offered by the Rüsselsheim-based C-segment SUV. For those who want to carry a little more, Opel now offers the solution itself, with a whole range of new genuine accessories.

For example, several aluminum roof bars are designed to increase the vehicle's cargo capacity and facilitate the transport of large items. According to the manufacturer, attaching them to the roof is quick, easy, and, above all, scratch-free. These can then be used to mount various Opel roof boxes (presumably those from other brands as well), which, depending on the size, offer up to 500 liters of additional storage space.

Opel also points to the aerodynamic design of the roof boxes, which offer the lowest possible air resistance and thus contribute to energy and fuel efficiency while driving.

The new bike racks for up to three bikes can also be mounted on the roof or, optionally, on the rear. Those who prefer rear mounting can purchase a suitable tow bar with a removable ball head online from Opel Accessories.

For the interior of the Grandland, Opel offers various sized sun visors and a variety of floor mats, from velour and needle felt to durable and easy-to-clean rubber mats, which winter sports enthusiasts and hikers in particular will appreciate.

Dirty shoes and clothes can then be disposed of directly in the thermoformed plastic trunk tray. The rubber side of the reversible tray can be cleaned with water.

Opel aggressively advertises the Grandland's 36 liters of storage space in various interior compartments. The charging cables in the electric versions of the car still need to go somewhere. The manufacturer offers numerous charging solutions, from Mode 3 charging cables to universal chargers.

Is less space enough?
