MotoGP - Fabio Quartararo also leads the final MotoGP practice session in Assen
After his best time on Friday afternoon, Fabio Quartararo also secured first place in the second free practice session of the MotoGP on Saturday morning.

Fabio Quartararo continues to be in top form this MotoGP weekend at Assen . The Yamaha star had already led the Friday afternoon practice session and was also the fastest man on track in FP2 on Saturday morning.
The result: Quartararo was 0.174 seconds faster than Francesco Bagnaia in 1:31.876 minutes. Pedro Acosta took third place ahead of Marco Bezzecchi and Marc Marquez. Maverick Vinales finished sixth, followed by Franco Morbidelli and the Gresini duo of Fermin Aldeguer and Alex Marquez. Fabio Di Giannantonio rounded out the top ten.
Crashes, defects & incidents: After a Friday filled with crashes, the riders had everything under control in the second free practice session on Saturday morning. There were no crashes whatsoever.
The weather: After a sunny start to Saturday, the weather clouded over again for the first MotoGP session of the day. During the second free practice session, a thick blanket of clouds hung over the track. The outside temperature reached just 21 degrees Celsius and the track surface reached 27 degrees Celsius.
