Dacia now with up to seven years warranty

Dacia is introducing a new warranty program specifically aimed at customers who want long-term protection for their vehicle beyond the regular manufacturer's warranty.
With the so-called Loyalty Guarantee, the manufacturer supplements the existing three-year new car manufacturer's warranty with a follow-up option that can be extended by either twelve months or 30,000 kilometers. Whichever condition is met first determines the end of the term.
Until now, the Loyalty Guarantee was only available to buyers of used cars. Dacia is now expanding its coverage to include new cars , so that vehicles can be covered continuously for up to seven years or a maximum of 150,000 kilometers, depending on usage and mileage.
A service at an authorized Dacia dealer is required for the extension. Interestingly, the offer is valid even if previous service visits were not performed at a Dacia workshop. The only requirement is that the vehicle meets certain criteria at the time of service: It must be no older than six years and two months from the date of first registration, and the mileage must be less than 120,000 kilometers.
The warranty covers a large portion of mechanical and electronic components. This includes not only the material costs but also the labor costs incurred at the authorized workshop. Another advantage: the loyalty guarantee is transferable upon resale, so the new owner continues to benefit from the same services.
With this measure, Dacia underscores its confidence in its product quality and sends a signal to its customers. Those who have their vehicles serviced regularly receive predictable protection against unexpected repair costs. At the same time, the manufacturer strengthens ties to its workshop network without excluding customers through rigid guidelines.
The concept fits in with the trend among many automotive brands, which are increasingly relying on flexible warranty and service offerings to ensure the value retention of their vehicles and increase owner satisfaction.
