Alfa Romeo and Maserati are collaborating on a project

BOTTEGAFUORISERIE is a new center for individualization, design research, and performance, bringing together the expertise of Alfa Romeo and Maserati. The initiative spans from Modena through Turin to Arese in the province of Milan and is headed by Cristiano Fiorio, who reports directly to Santo Ficili, CEO of Alfa Romeo and COO of Maserati.

BOTTEGAFUORISERIE combines the technical and design expertise of both brands. The Bottega program produces limited-edition special models, including vehicles like the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale and the Maserati MCXtrema. Here, ideas are developed, vehicles are designed and built, and every detail is coordinated with customers.

The Fuoriserie program enables further individualization: design studies, concept development and the integration of new materials and technologies are used to transform series models into tailor-made vehicles.

Another focus is on preserving the historical heritage. Under the La Storia banner, classic cars are restored, certified, and presented in museums, including the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese and the Umberto Panini Maserati Collection in Modena. The initiative thus cultivates the historical knowledge of both brands and makes it accessible to future generations.

In the Corse division, motorsport expertise is incorporated into the development process. Racing technology is used to optimize chassis, powertrain, and aerodynamic solutions. Collaboration with local manufacturing partners enables the combination of traditional engineering skills and modern developments in the field of super sports cars.

Santo Ficili emphasizes that BOTTEGAFUORISERIE makes the connection between creativity, technology, and craftsmanship visible and shapes the future of Alfa Romeo and Maserati. Jean-Philippe Imparato highlights that the initiative brings together design, technology, and research, offering a clear approach to bespoke, future-oriented vehicles. Cristiano Fiorio adds that the project links the past, present, and future of the brands, further developing vehicles both technically and aesthetically, and preserving the heritage of Alfa Romeo and Maserati.

BOTTEGAFUORISERIE thus becomes the central instrument for transferring traditional craftsmanship, engineering expertise and design competence into new, individual vehicle concepts.
