Two automotive giants recalled more than 111,000 vehicles

Automotive giants Toyota and Honda have decided to recall more than 111,000 vehicles in the United States due to various technical issues that could jeopardize driver safety.

Toyota and Honda, two major automotive players, have announced separate recalls covering more than 111,000 vehicles in the U.S. These recalls involve various technical malfunctions that could potentially endanger driver safety.

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing is recalling 94,320 U.S. vehicles because an inoperative defroster and defogger system could reduce driver visibility under certain driving conditions, increasing the risk of a crash, according to information released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Similarly, Honda Motor Co. is recalling 17,334 U.S. vehicles for service over concerns that the loss of steering assist could require more effort to steer, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
