The drivers of the colliding trucks turned out to be brothers: The brother could not be saved

The accident took place at the Bozalan Police Station on Şırnak Road in Cumhuriyet Neighborhood. According to information received, the truck driven by Mehmet Bilen (43), who was coming from Şırnak to Cizre, crashed into the back of the truck with the registration number 73 DT 944, driven by his brother Fidayl Bilen.

Mehmet Bilen, one of the Bilen brothers driving the vehicles, was seriously injured in the accident, while his brother, Fidayl Bilen, suffered minor injuries. Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the scene after a report was made to the 112 Emergency Call Center.

The brother and sister injured in the accident were taken to Cizre Dr. Selahattin Cizrelioğlu State Hospital by ambulance after receiving first aid at the scene.

Despite doctors' best efforts, Mehmet Bilen, one of the brothers being treated at the hospital, could not be saved and died. His brother, Fidayl Bilen, was reported to be in non-life-threatening condition.

An investigation into the incident has been launched.
