Leapmotor has started pre-sales for the B01, which targets China ’s mid-size electric sedan market at affordable prices. The company announced at an event that pre-sales for the B01 have begun. The starting price of 105,800 Chinese Yuan ($14,770, approximately 587 thousand lira) is lower than the Xpeng Mona M03 electric sedan. Leapmotor is offering five different versions of the B01 in pre-sales. Three models with a CLTC range of 550 km and two models with a CLTC range of 650 km will be on sale. SMART DRIVING FEATURE AVAILABLE Leapmotor has equipped the highest-priced variants of both range options with LiDAR to enhance smart driving performance. The model was revealed at the 2025 Shanghai auto show in April with dimensions of 4,770 millimeters long, 1,880 millimeters wide and 1,490 millimeters high, and a wheelbase of 2,735 millimeters. For reference, the Xpeng Mona M03 has dimensions of 4,780 millimeters long, 1,896 millimeters wide and 1,445 millimeters high, and a wheelbase of 2,815 millimeters. Tesla Model 3 is 4,720 millimeters long, 1,848 millimeters wide and 1,442 millimeters high, with a wheelbase of 2,875 millimeters. The two versions of the B01 accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 and 8.7 seconds. The three variants with a CLTC range of 550 km are equipped with a 56.2 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack, while the two variants with a range of 650 km are equipped with a 67.1 kWh LFP battery pack. REACHES 80 PERCENT CHARGING IN 18 MINUTES The model supports fast charging, allowing it to charge from 30 percent to 80 percent in about 18 minutes.
