Press the button and see the difference: Most drivers don't even use this feature

Many drivers have been driving cars for years without even realizing it, but they have a hidden feature that provides great comfort on hot days. This simple detail can transform a specific area in your car into a cool mini-fridge.

USES THE VEHICLE'S EXISTING SYSTEM

Today's vehicles come with many advanced features that enhance comfort, but many drivers aren't even aware of some of the technologies already present in their cars. One of these is the often-overlooked climate-assisted dashboard cooling system.

This system allows you to keep your drinks cool in the summer heat. This is without any additional equipment, just by using your vehicle's existing system.

HIDDEN COOLING DETAIL IN THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT

The system works via a small air duct located in the glove compartment. When the vehicle's air conditioning is activated, cool air is sent into the glove compartment through this duct. A small valve or button located inside controls the air flow, quickly transforming the glove compartment into a mini refrigerator.

This feature comes standard in some models from many brands, including Honda, Hyundai, and Volkswagen. It's an ideal system for keeping drinks cool on long journeys or in hot weather.

MAY VARY DEPENDING ON VEHICLE MODEL

Activating this function is quite easy. Simply activate the air vent on/off switch, usually located inside the dashboard. However, since the location and shape of the switch may vary depending on the vehicle model, it's best to consult your owner's manual or contact your dealer for more information.
