It is being held for the 15th time: It will start in Bursa and end in Bolu

The TransAnatolia International Rally Raid race kicked off in Bursa on Saturday, August 30th. The 2,190-kilometer race will conclude in Bolu on September 6th. In this 15th edition, 98 competitors from Türkiye, Germany, Italy, Romania, England, France, Australia, Ireland, and the Netherlands will test their physical and mental endurance on the challenging course. THE ADVENTURE THAT STARTED IN BURSA WILL END IN BOLU The race, which will pass through 58 districts from the borders of 17 provinces, will start from Bursa and reach Bolu via Kütahya, Bilecik, Eskişehir, Afyon, Ankara, Konya, Aksaray, Niğde, Nevşehir, Kayseri, Yozgat, Çorum, Kastamonu and Çankırı. TransAnatolia General Coordinator Burak Büyükpınar said, "For 15 years, we have been organizing this race with exciting stages in a cultural mosaic from east to west and north to south of Turkey. To date, we have hosted 2,500 athletes from 28 countries in our organization and have traveled over 40,000 km, circumnavigating the globe once. We are very happy to be able to start our 15th year in Bursa. Bursa is a very important city for automobile sports. Thanks to OutdoorFest, we were able to turn the start of the race into a festival for the first time this year. Thus, visitors from Bursa and the racers had the opportunity to get to know the outdoor world closely before the start. The festival that started on August 29th will end on the evening of Sunday, August 31st,” he said. ADVENTURE-FILLED STAGES START TO BE RUNNING ON AUGUST 31 TransAnatolia, which started in Bursa on the morning of Sunday, August 31st, will complete the first day at the camping area in Kütahya. The racers who go from Kütahya to Haymana on the second day will reach Cappadocia on the third day of the race. After the two-day competition in Cappadocia, the race will continue to Çorum on the fifth day. The sixth day will end at the camping area in Gerede and TransAnatolia will finish in Bolu/Abant on Saturday, September 6th. TransAnatolia competes in two different categories: rally and raid for Motorcycles, 4x4 Cars, SSV, Quad and Trucks. In the rally, the competitors race against time, while in the raid category the participants compete with navigation.
