Xiaomi has already delivered more than 40,000 YU7s; orders exceed 240,000

In early July, orders for the Xiaomi YU7 opened in China. Since then, in less than three months, the company has already delivered 40,000 units . And many more orders are on the way, CEO Lei Jun assured.

According to Bloomberg, the executive revealed at an event last Thursday that, since deliveries of the car began in China on July 6, "more than 40,000 units" have been delivered .

And, although the numbers may be impressive, they are still far from satisfying the orders placed immediately after the car was presented - there were more than 240 thousand in 18 hours, which according to Lei Jun constitutes "an industry record" .

And the Xiaomi leader left a promise: "I know there is a significant gap between this [the 40,000 deliveries] and everyone's expectations, and we will continue to make efforts."

Start at a great pace

It wasn't until last year that Xiaomi introduced its first car—the SU7 sedan. Since then, more than 300,000 vehicles have been delivered, and its growth ambitions continue.

Xiaomi cars are expected to hit the European market in 2027. Meanwhile, in China, it has created a customization program with various colors and designs available—initially, only 40 units per month.

The car features double-wishbone suspension at the front and multi-link at the rear, while the braking system includes Brembo calipers. Inside, there's the new Xiaomi HyperVision Panoramic Display and the Smart Cabin based on the HyperOS operating system. There's also a XiaoAI voice assistant with artificial intelligence.

Equipped with multiple sensors, radars, LiDAR, and high-definition cameras, the Xiaomi YU7 comes standard with the necessary hardware for advanced driving assistance.
