" Designed to overcome key barriers to electric vehicle adoption and integrate seamlessly into the electric ecosystem." This is the motto for the new Nissan Leaf , revealed this Tuesday.

The model, originally launched in 2010, is now more modern, with two battery options - the Standard package with 52 kWh of capacity and up to 436 km of autonomy (WLTP) and the Extended package with 75 kWh of capacity and up to 604 km of autonomy.

The fast charging time, from 20 to 80 percent, is less than half an hour. In the first case, the power amounts to 130 kW, while the Extended version delivers 160 kW of power.

This Nissan Leaf was designed in Nissan's Global Design Studio and features modern, aerodynamic lines - including the recessed door handles. It is a car that combines a reasonable interior space with compact dimensions that make it suitable for city driving.

Available in seven colour options, including exclusive Luminous Teal, the vehicle features a panoramic tinted glass roof, 3D rear lights and aerodynamically enhanced wheels in a choice of 18-inch and 19-inch sizes.
