'Light at the end of the tunnel'. Jaguar Land Rover about to resume production

The last month has been turbulent for Jaguar Land Rover , which found itself plunged into an unexpected crisis due to a strong cyber attack on its systems - which led to the interruption of production.
The situation has been ongoing since the end of August, but recovery is now close. According to the British publication Autocar, " some sections of manufacturing operations will resume in the coming days ."
A spokesperson for the manufacturer also clarified that it continues to work to ensure a completely safe restart, in collaboration with cybersecurity experts and the UK's National Cyber Security Centre.
Fully resuming normal activity on car and engine assembly lines could take several months, as losses are already inherent in a month without any production. Experts estimate costs of five million pounds per day—figures given by economics professor David Bailey to Autocar and former Land Rover chief engineer Charles Tenant to the BBC .
Government provides support
Jaguar Land Rover isn't the only company affected by the production shutdown following the cyberattack. Its suppliers, particularly smaller companies, are also feeling the effects.
This week, the British government announced support in the form of a loan issued by a commercial bank, worth 1.5 billion pounds (about 1.7 billion euros).
In this way, it seeks to provide the manufacturer with the necessary financial reserves to support the supply chain.
The Black Country Chamber of Commerce announced in recent days that a large percentage of affected businesses have already begun reducing working hours and even moving towards layoffs.
