An 18-year-old from the Zdzieszowice commune showed exceptional irresponsibility and lost his driving license just a few hours after passing his driving test. The teenage driver sped through a built-up area at 102 kilometers per hour and was stopped by the local SPEED group. It quickly turned out that this was not the first time he had broken traffic regulations.
The incident was reported by the Krapkowice District Police Headquarters. Officers from the SPEED group there were performing routine speed measurements of drivers on provincial route 423 in the town of Obrowiec.
"A moment after 11 a.m., officers noticed a Seat passenger car, the driver of which was driving at a speed of 102 km/h in a built-up area. The police immediately stopped the vehicle for inspection," Krapkowice uniformed officers said in a press release.

According to the regulations in force, for exceeding the speed limit in built-up areas by 50 km/h or more, police officers are obliged to confiscate the document entitling the driver to drive for three months.
But these are not the only problems of the young driver. The 18-year-old had previously committed a similar offence while riding a scooter. As a result, he broke the law in terms of recidivism. Therefore, in addition to losing his "licence", the police issued the teenager with a 3 thousand złoty ticket and added 13 penalty points to him.
Police officers appeal for caution on the roadsKrapkowice police took the opportunity to remind drivers about safe behavior on the road. In the message, they addressed young drivers in particular. They reminded that exceeding the speed limit can contribute to serious accidents and is severely punished.

"There is no place for recklessness on the road. Failure to comply with the regulations may result not only in a ticket, penalty points or loss of driving license, but also contribute to a tragedy," we read in the release.
